It would be a monumental task for Moore and Galloway to top their classic 1992 memoir, "We Were Soldiers Once... and Young." But they come close in this sterling sequel, which tells the backstory of two of the Vietnam War's bloodiest battles (in which Moore participated as a lieutenant colonel), their first book and a 1993 ABC-TV documentary that brought them back to the battlefield.
Kirkus Reviews
A worthy and wise successor to one of the best books ever about combat in Vietnam.

We Are Soldiers Still

... a must-read for any business executive. Moore's maxims hold as true in the boardroom as they did on the battlefield: trust your instincts; speak the truth up and down; prepare for the unexpected; see things from your competitors' point of view; choose the right subordinates and then listen to and rely on them. It's the best and most useful leadership reading we've seen this year.
